Join us on April 27 at 5:30 p.m. for a happy hour book review of “The Big Life” by Ann Shoket, former editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine.
Although the book is geared toward women in their 20s and 30s, any age group can glean pertinent information from the book related to their career and finding their passion.
There will be happy hour food and drink specials and we'll discuss the impact of the book and our thoughts on its message. Don't feel pressured to finish the book- we'll have a summary available.
There will be a giveaway of one signed copy from the author at 6:30! We will use the RSVP list as it is here at 3:00pm before the event and randomize at The Library.
There are Carnegie Library branches all over the city – there’s no need to buy a copy (unless you really want to). Just borrow the book from any library and meet us at The Library on April 27!

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday! Had a great time talking books, side 'hustles', new jobs and even the little things like to-do lists :) I think we'll do another casual Happy Hour and optional book review in the future (ideas welcome!).
