Join us for our June leadership lunch in the Triangle! This event will give our members the opportunity to connect in a more intimate setting. As this event is capped at 12 attendees, make sure to register fast! This event is available to Ellevate members at the Entrepreneur and Executive Council levels on a first come first serve basis. As we believe this event will allow members to learn, grow, and make changes in the community, we are very excited to make this a part of our regular calendar of events.
The topic of discussion is "Engaging Men as Allies and Partners." Oftentimes in order for organizational change to happen, men within the organization need to be on board. Through groups like Ellevate, we learn about the value of diversity to the organization, but how do we get this message to men who are not dialed into diversity groups? How do we engage them to become our advocates? In this lunch featuring a self-appointed male advocate, we will discuss tactics for how to engage your male coworkers and other community members. The discussion will be led by our chapter vice president, Bridget Wandelt.
The price of $30 includes lunch (entrée, drink, and dessert).
Parking at the Page Road Grill is free. It is recommended to arrive a bit early to more easily find a parking space.
