Learn more about Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham. She is currently a Congresswoman running for Governor of New Mexico, which will be vacated by Republican Susana Martinez due to term limits. She will be the first Democratic female Latina to be elected Governor in this country. There are only five women currently serving as Governor of a U.S. State (2 Dem, 3 Rep) and she could be next!
We will also hear Nate Shutman from the Democratic Governors Association expand on the strategy to "unrig the map" to make our elections fair. He will explain the importance of the 2018 gubernatorial race winners as they decide the redistricting lines in 2020. That said, New Mexico could be one pick up for the Democratic Governors Association this cycle.
Arrive by 6:30 pm to mingle and enjoy light refreshments. The program will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Ample street parking available.
