Walking Tour of Back Bay and Downtown Boston in Honor of Lucy Stone

In honor of Lucy Stone’s birthday, please join us for a guided walking tour of Boston’s Back Bay and downtown led by Boston Women’s Heritage Trail.

In 1847, Lucy Stone was the first women in Massachusetts to graduate from college. She went on to become an orator, an abolitionist and a suffragette and was a founder of the American Women’s Suffrage Association.

From sculptures to educational institutions to private homes, the curated tour will bring us to sites that tell a story about prominent Boston women.

We will meet at 9:45 at the Statehouse front steps on Beacon St., near closed gate. The tour will begin at 10:00AM and run until 11:30 AM. Hope you can make it!
