SmithGroupJJR's PERSPECTIVES brings together “designers” from seemingly disparate areas of expertise to exchange collaborative viewpoints on design. The event is free, but registration is required.

We live in a world of data. From Yelp ratings to logistics, data drives business and design decisions in nearly every sector of every industry. But what do we with all this data? How might we use it to enhance outcomes and experiences? Does data stifle creativity? Good design is informed by data. And, designers play a key role in distilling data into something genuine and meaningful to positively affect business, service delivery, experiences and the built environment.

In the third event of our Hyperlocal series, we explore ways in which data expedites problem-solving, how data is translated and combined with feedback and intuition to transform the decision-making process, and the impact of data on the design process.

SmithGroupJJR, an award-winning design firm, helps solve clients' and society's most pressing challenges through architectural and engineering solutions.
