The overall goal of “Breakthrough Leadership” is to provide participants with insight to different leadership styles, achievements and situations. On the main panel, there will be four undergraduate and three professional speakers, all women. The students were chosen based on their leadership of major student groups (including Women in Business and The Harvard Crimson) and similarly, the professional panelists were chosen for their leadership in local organizations such as the Boston Women’s Network.

The aim of the panel is to connect student leaders with professional leaders in such a way that the participants can relate to both groups. We will be focusing on leadership style, challenges (both in leadership generally but also issues specific to being a female leader) and development/changes to leadership style depending on situation. We also hope to save time for questions and discussion.
