UNC’s Women in Business Conference, in its 12th year, provides workshops, distinguished keynote speakers, and panel discussions to several hundred individuals. Conference attendees include students of the business school, UNC faculty and staff, alumni, and members of the surrounding community. The conference will take place on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at Kenan-Flagler Business School from 8 AM to 5 PM. One of the most successful events at UNC Kenan-Flagler, the Carolina Women in Business Conference serves as a powerful forum from which to learn, share, and inspire one another.
The following companies will be represented: BASF, Eastman Chemical, Amazon, McKinsey, The Siegfried Group, Accenture, Deloitte, Cisco, Advanced Auto, Coca-Cola, EDENS, Target, Walmart, JP Morgan, ExxonMobile, Vubiquity and Cree. It will include two keynote speakers, workshops and a series of panels. There is also an option to attend the Wine Reception at the Carolina Inn immediately following the conference. This year’s afternoon keynote speaker for the CWIB conference will be directly from the Entertainment industry! Darcy Antonellis, CEO of Vubiquity, will give the afternoon keynote talk. The morning keynote speaker will be Betty Noonan, the Chief Marketing Officer, at CREE. Panels range from Entrepreneurship to E-commerce. Workshops will also focus on a diverse range of topics.
