The style of Streamline Moderne Architecture is characterized by rounded corners, simplified forms, walls of glass blocks, aerodynamic curves and nautical features - think portholes.  The style reflected the frugal times of the Depression and was influenced by industrial designs of appliances, cars, ships and trains.  Examples are found in residences, commercial buildings - and even marquees of movie theaters.  T
