Strengths-Based Leadership Workshop

 2 hours

Strengths-Based Leadership Workshop

Strengths-Based Leadership is based on the theory of maximizing the potential in people and organizations, by focusing on and continuously developing inner talents rather than focusing on deficiencies. This work is based on a 40-year study of human strengths. Many organizations today are realizing that it is more productive and efficient to invest in their people’s strengths to get optimal productivity and success, rather than fixating on weaknesses.

We will give you tools to discover and understand your own strengths and how to develop them. To get the full benefit from this workshop, each attendee must complete a strength assessment which takes approximately 35 minutes to complete. You will bring your strengths profile to class and use it to learn about how to strategically develop your talents and leave with a clear Action Plan. Once you register and prior to the workshop, please email Iris Newalu (inewalu@smith.edu) to receive your online code to take the Strengths Assessment.

This workshop will be a packed 2-hour session that will give you lots of opportunity for a deeper awareness of yourself, the talents you may or may not be aware of, and how you can further develop them to bring you more success in your professional and personal life.

Join us for a light lunch and deep learning!

To everyone who signed up for this workshop: I am very sorry to cancel this workshop, however due to the impending storm on Wednesday it did not feel wise to hold it this week. We have rescheduled it for Wednesday, March 28, same place and same time (12-2pm) and I hope you will join us then. In the meantime, if you have not already taken the Strengths assessment please do. Remember to bring your Strength’s profile with you to the workshop on the 28th. If you cannot attend on the 28th please let me know and we can set up a time to talk through your profile. Without the class, the assessment can be misunderstood. However, I do hope you will be able to attend the class. I am looking forward to meeting you! Iris Newalu inewalu@smith.edu
