diSiac Dance Company is dedicated to exploring all dimensions of dance and to sharing its fun, energetic and innovative productions with the community. Founded just 8 years ago, it has become one of the most widely respected and acclaimed groups on campus. diSiac-ers represent a variety of dance backgrounds—from professional ballet and modern to theatre, varsity athletics, and club dancing—and several have gone on to study dance at some of the top graduate programs in the country. Completely student-run, diSiac provides a free-spirited outlet for self-expression, experimentation, and exploration. Members experience firsthand what can only be called the “diSi-family:” a diverse but tight-knit group of talented, passionate, HOT dancers who attack the stage and the dance floor with equal enthusiasm. diSiac’s biannual shows, which attract a crowd of devoted diSi-fans, have been praised for their edgy choreography and exceptional variety. diSiac also performs regularly at many community events, including Communiversity and the International Festival.
