Your brain craves certainty. In fact, when the brain gets signals of uncertainty in the future, it sets off warning and alarm bells in the rest of the body. This can create an uncomfortable and sometimes downright painful experience.
In this one hour session, you’ll learn about the science of mindfulness and understand the process your brain and body go through when uncertainty arises. You'll learn about how it helps and hinders our decision-making. You’ll get hands-on tools to help you find peace and calm amidst the unknown.
- 6:00-6:15pm: Registration

PARKING & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Paid meter parking is available on the surrounding streets. A paid, public parking lot is also across the street. When you arrive, check in with the front desk on the first floor and proceed to the Michelle Obama conference room on the top floor.
