Think yoga is just about being a zen-like pretzel? Think again. It’s actually the quickest way to get to a feeling of calm strength because it gets your mind, body and energy into the game. And just as yoga doesn’t equal being bendy, calm doesn’t equal being a wallflower.
Learn tools at our Young Professionals sweat-working event for self-care to get you comfortable and confident in your body, voice and mind--then carry your newfound glow into the workweek and beyond.
Part 1: Yoga for Confident Body, Voice and Energy: An open-level yoga class that will teach you how to wring out anxiety, breathe easier so you can use your voice, hold yourself with ease, and send out an energy that engages others.
Part 2: Mental Shifts For Getting Out of Your Own Way: Bringing in yoga tools like meditation and rewiring habits, we can undo negative patterns and tackle issues of imposter syndrome, self-doubt and perfectionism.
Be sure to wear something you can move in!
Led by Pam Reece, coach and expert on physical and vocal presence for women leaders. As a former commercial casting director and yoga teacher, she’s able to teach women how to breathe, move and think calmly while also coaching them on how to present themselves and be heard.
