The Twin Cities chapter of Ellevate Network is hosting an online giving campaign, “The Kindness Project,” supporting Perspectives, Inc., an award-winning Minneapolis-based human service organization committed to serving at-risk women and their children. The giving campaign runs through October 30, with strong social media promotion to generate community awareness and encourage participation. Individuals and organizations can contribute to the campaign by fulfilling items from the organization’s Amazon wish list that will directly benefit the women and children it serves.
For over 40 years, Perspectives, Inc. has provided resources and programs to address critical issues including homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental illness, poor nutrition, and lack of access to services for homeless and recovering mothers and their children. The giving campaign, which runs through October 30, focuses on fulfilling needs for the organization’s Supportive Housing and Kid Connections programs. Just watch one of these Perspectives’ Stories of Hope videos – you’ll want to help!
It’s easy and intrinsically rewarding to go to the Amazon wish list and select an item. And it’s easy – your gift gets sent directly to Perspectives, and is tax deductible. As part of the project, Ellevate has established a network of “Kindness Partners” to extend the reach of the campaign and generate awareness and support within the community. These partners include West Monroe Partners, Epiq, Balance Natural Health Center, Leah Inez, Azul Seven, The Coven, PRESS, Pollen, and The Buttered Tin.
Registration is not required. Simply visit the Perspectives, Inc. Amazon wish list to purchase items for the families that Perspectives serves.
