A Seat at the Table: Conversations on Advocating for Women in Leadership
2 hours

Join us for a special Veteran’s Day event where we’ll be discussing practical strategies to get more diverse voices to the table and how we can support their journey. Our expert panel includes representatives from government, tech, education, and business.
Getting diverse women into leadership positions is important. It paves the way for future generations of change-makers whose voices need to be at the decision-making table. It strengthens the pipeline. It opens up new lines of communication. It provides solutions across industries, opinions, and political lines. It boosts the bottomline.
Our identities are intersectional and should be measured by more than a checkbox of diversity practices. Rather, intentionally including different perspectives and experiences lead to hard but necessary conversations, reflections, and change. Diversity leads to stronger businesses and communities. Visionary leaders are not just including diverse voices in the workplace – they are advocating for them.
Join us for a powerful panel of experts who are paving the way in bringing women from varying backgrounds into the leadership pipeline and gain key insights and action items to take with you moving forward.
Our panel welcomes Assemblyman Michael Blake, Professor Asha Castleberry, and VP of D&I at AppNexus Antoinette Hamilton, with moderator Kristy Wallace, Ellevate CEO, to learn about the work– seen & unseen – in advancing women to the forefront of leadership and what that dividend looks like.
This event is open to all. Please invite your male colleagues, your bosses, best friends, and supporters to come with you — this event is open to everyone interested in enriching their understanding and taking part in building the future of female leadership.
