Ever wonder how to sustain that 'everything's alright' feeling you have right after a yoga class once you get home? This workshop will show you how to bring that feeling with you where ever you go.

The Yamas & Niyamas are the first two limbs of Classical Yoga. They direct us on how to live a ‘good’ life. The Yamas are how we interact with the world around us and the Niyamas are how we treat ourselves. Taken together they provide a path for happiness, contentment, increased self-awareness and stronger leadership.
On the surface they sound very practical, Satya or 'truthfulness' instructs us not to lie. Seems pretty simple. But how many times a week do you find your self over scheduled and rushing from one thing to another? You have lied to yourself about how much time you actually have.
Or how about Aparigraha, 'non-attachment.' How many times have you opened the dishwasher just to be frustrated and yell at someone about how they did it ‘wrong?’ You are attached to how the dishwasher is loaded. What else in life are you attached to that causes you angst...but doesn’t really matter? Come find out!
We will explore the Yamas & Niyamas on a much more practical level and in ways that you never thought of before!
Join Yvette for a lively discussion and an eye opening exploration of the Yamas & Niyamas in your everyday life.
No yoga experience required so bring a friend or two!
