In this workshop, you’ll learn to use audience awareness to improve client-facing written communications. Whether you’re requesting a quick introductory phone call or submitting a detailed proposal, you can use audience awareness to avoid the communication pitfalls that cause clients and potential clients to miss your great ideas or fail to take the next step.
This is workshop #2 in the Writing for Impact series, but anyone can attend. We’ll start with the ART of audience awareness: the Audience you’re trying to reach, the Response you hope to get, and the right Tone needed to get it. Then, we’ll apply this tool to the top four mistakes writers make when communicating value to clients.
Stay tuned for the next two workshops we have planned in the 'Writing for Impact' series, which will be scheduled during 2019:
Workshop 3. Writing for Impact: Presentations that Pop
Workshop 4. Writing for Impact: Emails that Work (Webinar)
Bento-box dinner accommodating a range of dietary preferences and refreshments will be served.
