Join us for a Jam Session with Mary Stelletello on how to have courageous conversations. She'll discuss trust-building techniques and best practices to improve your conversational intelligence.

Tuesday, March 27, 2018 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EDT

Do you work with someone whose conversational style is "Tell, Sell, and Yell," and sometimes struggle to feel heard? Join us for a Jam Session with Mary Stelletello to learn how to have courageous conversations. She'll discuss trust-building techniques to improve your conversational intelligence (C-IQ) and best practices heralded by Ellevate Network chair, Sallie Krawcheck.

Mary will talk through the conversation styles designed to teach how to move a conversation from "Me" to "We" using tools like the C-IQ Conversation Dashboard. She'll also explore concepts from Sallie's book “Own It: The Power of Women at Work” for having Courageous Conversations.

Walk away from this Jam Session with:

  • An increased awareness of your personal conversational style and its impact on others
  • Techniques to engage in courageous conversations
  • And increased ability to access empathy, foster shared decision-making, and connect with others more deeply

I could not join the live Jam Session, but what a fabulous presentation--I especially appreciated, and could spend hours and hours, days and days, evaluating my experiences in teams, partnerships, and personal past, identifying errors and corrections in the Conversational Blind Spots and Reality Gaps. Meaning resides with the listener! Thank you so much for sharing your research and evaluation on this important topic, Mary Stelletello!
