Are you applying to business school (full-time, part-time, or executive MBA programs) this year or in the near future? The MBA admissions landscape has never been more competitive; for example, Harvard Business School’s acceptance rate is 11% and Stanford’s is 6%. Given such tough odds, how can you make sure that you stand out from the crowd?
A graduate of Harvard Business School and the Founder/CEO of Ivy Groupe (www.ivygroupe.com), a boutique MBA admissions consulting company, Shaifali Aggarwal will share how you can position yourself for success when applying to business school.
In this Jam Session, you will learn:
- Actionable steps that you can take to successfully put your best foot forward throughout the MBA application process
- What you need to do to craft the strongest and most authentic, compelling, and differentiated applications to improve your chances of gaining acceptance to the business schools and MBA programs of your choice
Shaifali Aggarwal received her MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS) and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University. At HBS, Shaifali served as VP Admissions of the Women’s Student Association; in this role, she collaborated directly with the HBS Admissions Office as a liaison between current and prospective/admitted students. At Princeton, Shaifali interviewed prospective students for admission as an alumni interviewer. Through these experiences, she has had the unique opportunity to gain insight into the qualities that top-tier educational institutions look for in candidates.
