I am a holistic wellness coach for single, professional women. I help them access their optimal health so they can better enjoy their career and relationships. After more than 10 years as a financier, I discovered how to break free to truly live the ideal life as a single, professional woman. Wanting to find a more fulfilling career and seeing other single professional women struggling with stress and suboptimal health, led me to become a wellness entrepreneur. I believe that a holistic, healthy lifestyle is a critical - but often - neglected element of a successful career and satisfying relationship. I enjoy home cooking, wine tasting, doing yoga, gardening, sailing and playing guitar.

Tell us about your favorite Ellevate Network memory or success story. Why are you a member?

I am fairly new to Ellevate Network and only became a member recently. I think it's truly a great platform, encouraging all women to grow and shine by helping and learning from each other. Before Covid time, I used to go to in-person net working meetings a lot, including one of the Ellevate meetings - that's how I learned about this community. But now during Covid time, this platform has even more to offer - I am able to connect with like-minded women from all over the world. So far I am really enjoying all the informative and motivational virtual meetings. As a new entrepreneur working from home, it is extremely importantly to be keeping involved with good community for career and social needs.

How would you define your professional mission?

My mission is to help professional women improve their health, so they can accomplish much more in life with elevated wellness and renewed purpose without getting caught in preventable lifestyle-related disease.

What qualities does it take for someone to be successful in your line of work?

Compassion; Being grounded; "Walk the talk;" Patience; Intellectual curiosity

We’d love to hear more about your career path. What led you to where you are today?

I was working in finance at decent jobs for over 10 years, but, day in and day out, I didn’t feel I had a clear purpose for my life. Being single and living in a foreign country, away from my family, I had some rough times fighting different health issues while going through breakups. I suffered from a few exasperating health conditions due to poor diet, lack of exercise, stress, anxiety from work and relationships; Homesickness and loneliness were frequent visitors too. Doctors were not of much help to me as I gradually realized that I was stuck in a vicious cycle of symptom-suppressing prescriptions. After years of struggling, I finally broke free to figure out how to nurture myself back to health and happiness through holistic lifestyle change. I was able to replace side-effect-loaded prescriptions with healthy whole foods, exercising and mindfulness. Now, I’m proud and grateful to have good health and have left my career in finance to study nutrition and holistic health. I’ve started on a mission to help other single professional women, so they can accomplish much more in life with good health and renewed purpose. Years of struggle as a single professional woman, finding healing for myself, and finally embarking on a new journey to help others single professional women shine – I think I found my purpose for life.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Doing what I love living a healthy holistic lifestyle, showing others how to do that same, and ,most importantly, being able to help others is such a good feeling, especially in a direct way that could change other’s lives for the better.

What is your morning ritual?

-Lemon & spirulina water to hydrate and nourish my body first thing in the morning -Meditation to make me appreciate the present moment and feel hopeful for the future -Yoga to fully wake up and mobilize my body for the day -Superfood loaded oatmeal to power me with sustained energy and nutrients for the morning -Morning planning to set goals and priorities for the day

What does success look like to you?

Success looks like reaching a place of abundance to give back and help others in a sustainable and mutually beneficial way.

What is the best career advice you ever received?

Loving what you do is happiness but doing what you love is freedom - the main reason I became an entrepreneur.

What is one piece of advice you’d offer working moms?

If they don't find joy from their work, make sure to find and practice their joy outside of their family life. They should always set aside time and space for their selves to be able to reflect on their life and grow. Unfortunately, many working moms neglect this factor, thinking they are having the "work and life balance" by working hard and taking care of their family, which usually doesn't including taking care of themselves. So, I'd say self-care is very important because only when their internal needs are well taken care of , could they feel more abundant to radiate love and care to others.
