Making Enablement a C Suite position

Tell us about your favorite Ellevate Network memory or success story. Why are you a member?

I just joined but love LinkedIn Learning and the team I work with for LinkedIn Sales Insights (LISN). I am a member to learn executive presence with the c suite outside sales leadership.

What qualities does it take for someone to be successful in your line of work?

The ability to be curious even when the other side is a know it all - lots of great sales people are - and use the words of that individual to get them to buy in to the overall mission.

What legacy do you hope to leave through your work?

The brand I want to leave on RingCentral is that anyone at any level can think outside the box. Building a brand is key to the workplace so brand your projects - a personal favorite of mine is Project L.E.A.D. which was the first collaboration project between enablement and sales leadership - Leadership. Enablement. And Development.

What is your morning ritual?

Wake up and don't touch the phone - go for a walk, just look out a window into natural light etc. to let yourself get ready for the day ahead. bonus points if you reflect on the day or week prior and journal!

What is your favorite social media site? Why?

Instagram - I just love looking at everyone's perfect lives :) Only kidding I do like that instagram can let you get lost and something thats exactly what you need at the end of a big day.

What would you say your personal superpower is?

Connecting good people and giving them the power to creating something great.

Is work-life balance a problem for you? What is one no-fail tactic you use to create balance?

YES it is for everyone its about finding your rhythm and what you are comfortable with at that point in your career - sometimes it is working at 10pm other times its getting a facial in the middle of the day.

What advice would you offer future leading ladies wishing to break into your industry?

Be CURIOUS always ask folks around you junior, senior etc for their advice. All advice will shape you into who you want to be

What is the best career advice you ever received?

When you are on the way up make sure to turn around and bring someone with you.
