Proactiveness, networking, never shying away from challenging the status quo, and good writing skills

Winning ‘Best Small Consultancy of the Year’ at the PRCA MENA awards in 2017.
We’d love to hear more about your career path. What led you to where you are today?
My move to Dubai from Mumbai happened very quickly while I was still at Lowe Lintas. While in Dubai I met with my boss - an exceedingly great mentor who gave me the freedom to spread my wings and lead the company in his absence, as well as grow it to where it is today, a lot of hard and smart work, networking and my family.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
It would have to be meeting new people regularly and seeing my clients reach new milestones due to the work we’ve done for them - be it closing M&A deals, ggoin for a series B funding or winning awards!
What legacy do you hope to leave through your work?
That the work I have done is second to none.
Who are your role models?
Roger Federer, and a lot of women I meet on a regular basis - friends who’ve given up lucrative jobs to follow their passion to mums who juggle businesses and the house with a smile on their face while making time for their friends.
What would you say your personal superpower is?
Being superfast - be it at getting work done, eating, problem solving or taking decisions. It does drive people nuts at times
Is work-life balance a problem for you? What is one no-fail tactic you use to create balance?
It can be daunting and challenging at times, however as a mum I’ve learnt to prioritize - work, family, hobbies and me time. I plan my week ahead - whether it’s my workouts, time with my kids and husband, time with my girls or pursuing my hobbies.
Tell us about your favorite Ellevate Network memory or success story. Why are you a member?
I was introduced to Ellevate at the Women Achieving Forum in Dubai. My first networking event was the ‘Entrepreneurship to Philanthropy’ event where, despite not knowing a single face, I felt very welcome, stimulated by other women in businesses and enjoyed the session. There was no turning back since.
