Hi Everyone! I'm Emi Kirschner! I help leaders build businesses that create impact while double and tripling their revenue. I host a podcast called the Tribe of Leaders and I'm a speaker and author. I love, love, love seeing people achieve their goals and find flow in their both their business and personal lives.

I live just outside of Philly and in addition to growing my business, I teach at the Young Entrepreneurs Academy where I have the opportunity to inspire teenage entrepreneurs. I'm also on the board of FemCity Philadelphia.

In my free time, I read, workout and play with my two dogs. I love trying new foods and I'm always of up for a fun adventure.

Tell us about your favorite Ellevate Network memory or success story. Why are you a member?

In the KOP Chapter last December, we made Vision Boards. Connecting with everyone and sharing our goals and aspirations was so much fun.

What qualities does it take for someone to be successful in your line of work?

Perseverance pays off. Entrepreneurship is an on-going experiment of figuring out what works and learning from what doesn't.

What project have you worked on that you’re most proud of? Why?

Bringing the Tribe of Leaders Membership Community to life has been so exciting. It's everything you could possibly need to start and grow a business in one place. The community is growing and I love seeing members connect with each other.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Seeing my clients transform be successful. I love their A-Ha moments!

What legacy do you hope to leave through your work?

Sustainable, long lasting change in how we work, do business, raise our families and interact in communities. I do a lot of work with helping clients with their mindset and finding flow in their life so they can be their best selves and create a ripple effect.. imagine cities of happy, satisfied people. We could accomplish so much.

What is your favorite social media site? Why?

Facebook, although Instagram is growing on me. I love how easy it is to connect with people in groups. I've made friends, done business, and found clients.

Is work-life balance a problem for you? What is one no-fail tactic you use to create balance?

I don't really believe in balance. Life doesn't work out to be evenly divided pie pieces. My goal is to find flow.. a place where I can move from one place to the next easily and creates energy, instead of depleting it.

What advice would you offer future leading ladies wishing to break into your industry?

Just start. Don't worry about getting it right. You have everything you need right now and starting small is better than not starting at all.

What is one piece of advice you’d offer working moms?

The best advice I've received ever was from a woman named Robin. She lead a new mom's group. She said " Your children will rise and fall to your expectations" I've used this as a guideline for my kids when I was struggling to "do it all" as single mom as it helped me give my kids more independence and responsibility. I have also kept it in mind when building my team and my tribe.. when I rise they rise. Totally keeps me moving forward!
