Hello my name is Ruth Frigo. In my opinion am a very successful person. Executive professional, mother, married, with psychology extra activities helping people to be better. I am here looking at a replacement opportunity to be in a new company to develop new skills after many years in Dell/NTT Data Services.
Tell us about your favorite Ellevate Network memory or success story. Why are you a member?
I have two successful main memories. First was a big sell to my main customer, I spent almost a year developing a consolidation solution and also another big project to implement a Call center Siebel Solution. But both projects were too big, I never imagined I could close both into the same week, 3 months before the end of the year. It was amazing, a great challenge and I gained a wonderful trip as special recognition. I was so proud of that.
The second was have my children. I planned this phase and I believed that I would be a mother. After many tentatives, worries, I was pregnant because I know that I should be a mother at this life. I am here to learn and change experiences.
How would you define your professional mission?
My professional mission is to do the best I can do for the success of the job that I am doing. I like to see results not only plannings.
What qualities does it take for someone to be successful in your line of work?
Relationship, strategy, passion to transform.
What is one of your most memorable career accomplishments?
My position as Latam leader after many years closing my targets.
What are some career challenges on your radar?
Act as a manager to share my experience and duplicate results with a core team.
What project have you worked on that you’re most proud of? Why?
I have many projects that I am proud of but there was one specific regarding the first portal solution for Citibank to the corporate area. It was unbelievable because we made all presentations but the last one we were on the global team and we got their approval, showing a draft solution in some papers. Very impressive, our position and seniority to address that.
We’d love to hear more about your career path. What led you to where you are today?
My career began very early, working as a sales person in a store. In 6 months I was the manager there, achieving all targets. During college I decided to change to a more professional company and I went to IBM (a great school) as a trainee. Since the beginning working in the customer, many challenges and great relationships built. I changed to be a sales manager, after I assumed Latam territories always considered a talent in sales. I also worked with a customer in their own company (my decision), returned to the formal market to Capgemini, after accepted an invite in dell/NTTData where I am now.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
See the project being executed. After many discussions, work, understand that you influenced the people and showed them why you should be the best player.
What legacy do you hope to leave through your work?
Relationship, confidence, friendship. People are always people, they appreciated values. and I like to make difference on their lives
What is it about your job that makes you feel it’s the right fit for you?
The innovation skills, the need to work with many people.
