Elina Kazan Completes Specialized program at NYU Stern School of Business in Corporate Sustainability
Following a 20-plus year career at Macy's leading communications, cause marketing and public relations campaigns for Macy's, Elina has moved into consulting non-profits, fashion start-ups and retail trade organizations. Expanding on her retail and fashion business experience, Elina just completed a specialized program at NYU Stern School of Business in Corporate Sustainability. With conversation and conferences on social impact, and consumer activism for businesses to do good, the timing was perfect to pursue a 14-week program that touched upon various disciplines in Corporate Sustainability from ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Investing, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Stakeholder Mapping and Employee & Consumer Engagement among other key topics. The program spearheaded by Professor Tensie Whelan, formerly president of the Rainforest Alliance, is an in-depth look at how to incorporate sustainability strategically into the corporate culture. This certificate adds another dimension to Elina's expertise in Corporate Communications.
