Maria Garcia Nielsen is named Independent Director at FEGEMU
FEGEMU, a Portwest company is excited to welcome Maria Garcia Nielsen as their Independent Director. Maria, a former Fortune 200 Division CEO with an extensive career in Strategy, Retail and Technology.
She leverages 20 years of digital experience given her early entry into the Internet space in 1995, founding Libroweb- a start-up sold to Amazon.com three years later.
Maria first worked in Europe as a strategy consultant for McKinsey, and later joined a team of McKinsey partners for 13 years executing Mergers and Acquisitions of Information Technology companies in Southern Europe.
She is a Governance Fellow by the NACD and by the Institute for Directors and Administrators in Spain. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
