Dr. Selena Ramkeesoon Designs Digital and Social Media Module for MBA Program
Dr. Selena Ramkeesoon, Co-President of the Washington, DC Chapter, designed a digital media and social media module for the advanced MBA course, “Innovation Through Marketing and Technology,” at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Digital media and social media are essential marketing communication channels. The trend toward visual social media has been mainly driven by the omnipresence of smartphones, as well as the enhancements in mobile internet services. The module encourages students to research and discuss the role digital media and social media play in an organization's branding strategy.
Selena is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the MBA Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus Business School, accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Selena is also an Adjunct Professor with the American University Kogod School of Business.

Selena earned her Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is PMP-certified.
