Serial entrepreneur and fashion designer, Camilla Olson, wondered why it was so hard to find decent looking clothing for work. Everything was too sexualized or frumpy. Camilla went back to school to earn an MFA in fashion design, launch her label with a runway show on Lincoln Center, only to realize that retail stores had no interest in carrying work related clothing.
After 5 years, Camilla pivoted to develop an online marketplace dedicated to working women to offer them clothing that would work for aspiring young women to inspiring senior directors who dress in business casual to outfits that work the board room.
Savitude is a new shape-driven shopping experience with a personalized, curated clothing marketplace for working women, where every silhouette is pre-selected to compliment your body shape. The marketplace uses technology to find better fitting clothes, help women discover their personal style for workwear while learning tips on how to dress their body type. Watch a 30 sec demo here.
As Savitude’s community of professional women around the world grows, they will add more robust machine learning including factors like geography, career aspiration, and social data to provide even more tailored and personalized selections in each members curated boutique. The app will also add features like a style map and educational tools to help members contribute to and better understand different global viewpoints of workwear.
The Savitude App for the iPad and iPhone is now available on the App Store .
