Katica Roy's Pipeline Launches #FixTheLeakyPipeline
Katica Roy, CEO and Co-Founder of Pipeline, announced on August 25 the launch of a consumer engagement program called, "The Leaky Pipeline." This concept and campaign serves as the beginning of their vision to spark larger dialogue in the public sphere about gender equity.
Equity for all requires voices from all, and their new consumer initiative engages people wherever they are in their journey toward gender equity.
The goal of this program was to raise awareness of the measurable economic impact the U.S. workforce can realize if we achieve gender equity. They shed light on the opportunity we have to collectively pursue and reach gender equity for this generation and generations to come.
Pipeline’s consumer listening campaign garnered 1.5M impressions including effectively engaging nearly 900 new individuals.
The Pipeline team also authored two articles (one via Ellevate) to support their launch:
- Huffington Post: The Economic Cost of Gender Inequity and the Leaky Pipeline
- COBiz: The economics of gender equity in Colorado: A $40 billion opportunity
