Ericka Spradley Selected To Coach During 2019 Women Of Power Summit
This year’s Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit will take place in Las Vegas from February 28th- March 3rd and Ericka Spradley, Chief PowHer Officer / Founder of Confident Career Woman has been selected to participate as a Coach for the event.
The Women of Power Summit is a professional leadership conference designed especially for executive women of color. It attracts 1000 attendees; 66% are Senior- level Managers, 94% are college graduates and 66% are between the ages of 36-55.
Ericka views this opportunity as not only an honor but also a full circle moment. She states: “Barriers exist for women in the workplace and even more so for women of color. Those barriers include bias, a different performance standard, inclusion challenges and quite frankly, a lack of support. While external factors definitely hinder the professional progression of women, we cannot deny that there are internal barriers that hinder us as well such as clarity, confidence, creating a career strategy and the courage to simply ask for what we deserve and need to thrive in the workplace. Because I specialize in identifying those internal barriers to accelerate the professional success of women, I cannot wait to coach 2019 Black Enterprise Women Of Power Summit attendees and offer support that helps them make PowHer Moves in their career.”
