It provides resources professional women need to be successful in their careers and lives – however they define that success. It is focused on building a high-quality community of professional women to lean on and learn from - an intentional, committed group that has pledged to invest in themselves and in other women. Their 40 regional chapters host a total of more than 700 in-person events each year.

The Ellevate Twin Cities Chapter, led by the committed and accomplished leadership team, has pledged to invest in the professional women of Twin Cities, with a goal of helping more women rise to positions of leadership, serve on boards, run for office, start businesses and reach gender parity in all areas of business. The Twin Cites chapter offers intimate monthly morning business coffees, Member Showcase Dinners, and special events. More than half of Ellevate members have advanced degrees; one third sit on boards; one third are published authors and thought leaders.

“It’s been incredible to see the growth in our organization in just the past year,” said Mixdorf, Twin Cities Chapter President, “It is proof positive that professional women in the Twin Cities are investing in their careers. We plan on continuing our growth and the support that we provide to our members in 2018.”

Members of the Twin Cities chapter are part of the global Ellevate Network which spans geography, function, industry and career stage.
