Ellevate Dubai and Reach Mentoring join forces to enhance the networking power of professional women in the region
Ellevate Network’s Dubai Chapter has partnered with Reach Mentoring to strengthen networking and mentoring opportunities for their members, providing essential support for female business leaders in the region.
Dubai, UAE: An agreement has been signed between Ellevate Network, the leading network for professional women, and Reach Mentoring, the first non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring and leadership of women professionals in the Middle East.
The partnership marks an important step to promote the professional development of female leaders by increasing their access to networking and providing mentoring opportunities – equipping them with essential skills to grow and succeed in the Middle East workplace.
Collaborative efforts will include joint participation in signature functions, sharing information and insight on career goals, and access to the highly successful Reach mentorship program as both mentors and mentees.
Ellevate Network has been active in Dubai for over 10 years, organising events for its members and the wider community, including career workshops, inspiring talks by regional leaders and speed networking sessions.
Reach was established in 2013 and has seen over 200 women at various stages of their career complete the organization’s year-long mentoring programme, where participants have been matched with male and female mentors from all industry sectors.
“We are always looking for partners who share our mission and values - Ellevate is a natural fit to broaden our offering to professional women across the Middle East. The region has seen a number of milestones achieved to enable women to reach leaderships positions, but there is still plenty to be further achieved,” said Laudy Lahdo, Reach Board Member and General Manager of Servcorp.
“I am thrilled to announce this partnership. Ellevate and Reach have the same goal of growing women leaders, and approach it in perfectly complementary ways.” said Rana Nawas, President of the Dubai Ellevate Chapter and Senior Vice President at GE Capital Aviation Services.
“Ellevate Network believes in the power of collaboration to drive accelerated impact and innovation. We are very excited to partner with REACH and to continue our mission of closing the gender achievement gap in business through community and education.” Kristy Wallace, CEO of Ellevate Network.
