Ellevate Network Publishes White Paper on Best Practices to Drive Equality in the Workplace
The white paper is the second in Ellevate’s Driving Equality in the Workplace series which shares key findings on how to create sustainable and effective diversity, equity and inclusion(DEI) initiatives within companies.
New York, NY -
Ellevate Network, the leading community for women at work, a certified B Corporation and Women-Owned Business, is proud to announce the release of Driving Equality in the Workplace, Part 2. This report of best practices functions as a guide to steering business culture toward inclusion and in turn, to positive returns, employee satisfaction, and industry leadership. Ellevate developed this report from a series of roundtable discussions with corporate partners across industries and leaders in business who value innovation, generating higher returns, and providing equal opportunity.
Diversity, inclusion, and equality are crucial, and the business case is clear – more diverse teams, and teams that effectively practice inclusion, drive better results. However, finding effective ways to bring about these changes can be challenging. That’s why the Driving Equality in the Workplace report focuses on advice and actionable steps that individuals and organizations can take to move the needle toward equality. This white paper addresses the problems that have been top-of-mind for diversity leaders in the past year, including:
- Making Your Employee Resource Groups(ERG) More Effective
- Advocating for Pay Equity Through Opportunity
- Engaging Allies and Ambassadors
- Returning to Work After a Caregiving Pause
- Making Room for Varied Experiences
- Utilizing Partnerships for Equality
- Looking Ahead: An Equal Future Is Possible
On March 8, Ellevate published part one of the series which covers:
- Getting Buy-In for the Business Case for Diversity
- Struggling New Managers and the Challenges for Women
- Advancing Women of Color
- Building Confident Women Leaders Within Your Company
- The Journey to an Inclusive Culture
Both reports are available for download here.
“Part of our mission at Ellevate is to change the culture of business by creating more inclusive workplaces. We work with our partners every day to accomplish this at their firms, and lead by example by creating this environment in our own business.” said Kristy Wallace, Ellevate Network CEO.“We know that even if the benefits of an inclusive culture are proven, there is still a lot of work to be done in order to change the culture of business as a whole. That’s why we believe in creating reports like Driving Equality in the Workplace to share proven strategies to create change in your organization.”
