Taylor Bolton is Communications Coordinator at Ellevate, where she focuses on SEO strategies and data analytics, as well as forming meaningful media relationships to help communicate Ellevate’s mission and to build key media partnerships for our members.
Before joining Ellevate, Taylor was a Client Executive at Burson-Marsteller, where she conducted media outreach and supported various client teams. In her time at Burson, she focused on gender parity work, assisting clients with women-centric initiatives and programs. Taylor is a graduate of Yale Divinity School with a Master of Arts in Religion concentrated in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. While at Yale, she ran communications and social media outreach at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture. Taylor also has experience in internal communications at IBM, helping facilitate employee engagement in internal brand initiative, 1-3-9.
Originally from New Canaan, CT, Taylor graduated summa cum laude from the Florence Branch Campus of Marist College, where she majored in Italian language and culture. Before attending Yale, Taylor was the Assistant Onsite Program Director for Global Student Experience and Marketing and Communications Officer at FlorenceForFun, SRL. in Florence, Italy.
Taylor’s Female Role Model(s): J.K. Rowling, who used her imagination and creativity to change her life, and my mom, who built her own theater from the ground up, because she had a dream.
