This past year, the United States was rocked by the loss of Roe v Wade. AAPI lives were threatened and taken. LGBTQ+ protections eroded. Black voices were seemingly finally heard, only for companies to make it clear that their support was little more than lip service.

Worldwide, we've seen women forced back into the shadows by tyrannical rule in Afghanistan, while women in Iran risked their lives to stand up for their most basic rights to autonomy. The entire nation of Ukraine pushed back against an unprovoked invasion from Russia.
