Mobilize Women 19' Resilience and Mental Strength
We live in a world in which tragedy can happen. From small setbacks to unforeseen circumstances and massive, life-altering events, we don’t always have control over how things develop. How do you deal with difficult events that change your life?
To be able to move on, to turn things around, and to actually live a healthy and fulfilling life, you need resilience and mental toughness. Today, Sian Beilock, President of Barnard College at Columbia University, will lead a conversation between two of the most resilient people in our community: Command Chief Master Sergeant Ericka Kelly and world champion powerlifter Janae Marie Kroc. Together, they will discuss how to take care of yourself through difficult times, cultivate mental strength, and overcome obstacles that can seem insurmountable.
