85 Broads member Ingrid Harding is Founder and Executive Director of Girl Power 2 Cure, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research for Rett Syndrome, a devastating neurological disorder that mainly affects girls, including her daughter Sarah. Join us to hear Ingrid’s personal journey of bringing Rett Syndrome into the national spotlight, and how her 10-year-old daughter who cannot speak, walk independently or use her hands is her most valuable mentor.
Ingrid works from her home in Amelia Island, FL where she resides with her husband, a physician, and her three children ages 13, 10 and 8. She is a graduate of Davidson College, NC. Prior to her work with Girl Power 2 Cure, Ingrid was Founder and Program Director of PlayhouseRadio.com, as well as a teacher and author.
