Have you ever wondered what it would be like to launch a start-up? Are these accelerator programs worth pursuing, especially when they want you to trade a piece of equity to participate? How prevalent is the “brogramming” culture you have heard about? How does being a woman and a mother affect your chances of success when raising money, especially when the majority of investors are men? Where do you find the other women in the tech scene, or women investors?
Join us for a frank and candid discussion about these issues with Sharon Schneider, a mother of three young kids and founder of high-growth e-commerce startup Moxie Jean, winner of the COMMON Pitch NYC 2012 and participant in nationally-ranked Excelerate Labs.
