From space design to a multigenerational environment of workers, it is so easy to fall into the trap of using the right buzz words, but not really walking the talk! With over 30 plus years in the Shared Workspace sector, and having worked in 29 countries, Carolina will share with you how to work within your existing space, by creating areas and getting the right mix of one's own space that fits everyone's needs, still allowing them their own space.
Carolina Rendeiro is an industry expert, a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in business development and emerging markets resulting in increased profitability. She has consulted in 29 countries and developed companies to advance their growth and market share. Since 1978 she has been dedicated to the workspace industry and she currently owns two co-working locations under the RightSpace2Meet brand in Miami, Florida. She continues to develop innovative shared space opportunities in around the world and locally in South Florida.
Ms. Rendeiro is a strong proponent of community involvement and of the importance of creating synergy between business owners and their communities. She currently serves on the board of the Sister Cities International (SCI), a worldwide nonprofit citizen diplomacy network that creates and strengthens partnerships between U.S. and international communities. She has also been asked to serve on board for CAMACOL, the Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States. At CAMACOL she will continue the organization’s forty year history fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, promoting economic development and facilitating international commerce. She is past president and board member of the Global Workspace Association, the Trade Association for the Office Business Center Industry and has represented thousands of business centers worldwide. She is Past Chairman of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Executive Chair of the Beacon Council, (economic development for Miami-Dade County), served on the Foundation Board of FIU, Serves on the Advisory Board of Liquid Space as well as on the Advisory Board of BBT Bank. Serves as the Chair of the International Coordinating Affairs Council, for the City of Coral Gables, This past year, Carolina was an integral part in working with eMerge in the International Sector, in relationship to the Startup’s and Country Pavilion, she will continue with eMerge again this year for the 2015 conference.
