There are some leadership traits that will help you stand out, no matter what industry you use them in. In this Jam Session, Shannon Polson will discuss the top leadership lessons she learned in uniform that you can use for success in the business world and any other kind of leadership position.

  • Know how to respond to criticism and doubt, your own or someone else’s
  • Connect to your own sense of purpose
  • Learn the critical communication skill nobody has taught you
  • Learn how to respond to fear
  • Learn the most important thing a leader needs to do

Shannon Huffman Polson is an author, a leadership motivational speaker, adventurer and veteran. As one of the first women to fly the Apache helicopter in the US Army, she led three different line units on three continents. Now she speaks to organizations and corporations around the world to motivate, inspire and teach leadership and grit, storytelling and transformation.
