Have you taken a career break or are you contemplating one at some point in your professional trajectory? Did you know that it’s very common? As many as one third of college-educated women take a career break and eighty-four percent of millennial women foresee having one at some point in their professional lives. When women return to work they often face obstacles such as age discrimination, gender bias, bias against mothers, and the gender pay gap. The good news is that these barriers are not insurmountable, especially if you are prepared. There are incredible opportunities for women to utilize this untapped potential by giving back in their next chapter through a career in the growing social impact sector.
